Why This Ministry is Needed:

Abortion statistics tell of the millions of babies who are conceived but never born. They do not, however, address the other casualties—the women and men who suffer with emotional and spiritual death after choosing to have an abortion. Many of these individuals have lost hope and suffer in silence from the pain of their abortions. The hopelessness they feel affects most all of their relationships with family and friends.

Many women/men hide the secret of a past abortion deep in their hearts while suffering many devastating consequences. They often carry shame and guilt too afraid to reveal their hidden secret. They feel they are alone and that they will carry this with them forever! C.A.R.E. allows women/men to release this shame and find freedom through Christ in a confidential environment, with others that have been where you are. We provide Post-Abortion Recovery classes that allow you to experience joy and hope as you deal with the past with others that understand.

Statistics show that 43% of women have experienced an abortion (over 1 in 3 women). These are your sisters, mothers, wives, friends and sit next to you at church. Many struggle for years with Post-Abortion Syndrome, ranging in symptoms from eating disorders, insomnia, alcohol/drug abuse, depression, etc. Most women feel they are not allowed to talk about their abortion experience because it was their "choice".
